I've read many-a-time on here that we supposedly finished joint 2nd last year.

I do like these threads, they're becoming more and more - what's the word - petty? Yes petty. They're becoming more and more petty as the days go by.

Like I say, i've read it on here that we supposedly finished joint 2nd with Chelsea when talking about how well we did. You canny have it both ways, you just canny.

The one thing I've noticed about this end of the table compared with mid table or even the relegation zone is the amount of politics that enter the game. It's all about hacks (with vested interests) trying to undermine your club, trying to sway the old men at the FA into making handicapping desicions that cost you points or even the FA doing the same indirectly because they don't want any gatecrashers winning things and want to keep the status quo.

thats it politics with skysport they need to keep utd at the top it sells big tv right all around and utd need the glory hunters on weekend breaks

if skysport are not behind any dodgy going on with football in england then i will eat my hat you only need to watch the kompany tackle and the mario stamp and the last 4 games to see they rule the media and the refs

i will keep this post till next season and if we win the league see how many times sky call us champions or joint top

I swear to god, years and years of living in Man United's shadow has irreparably damaged many City fans. The paranoia and insecurity has become hard-wired.

know what you are saying but its just wrong i dont care if we win or lose the league for its easy manchester city mean alot more than glory we was there in the bad times and yes the good times

but its the skysports media that i hate about football
there is not 1 pundit or explayer manager on our side in that i mean watch the live games you never see ex city players giving there veiw at halftime or post match its always somebody with a axe to grind about city

last time somebody got stuck into them was mike summerbee and was never ask back

now they are calling it joint top

How petty is it that people decide to jump into a thread just to complain about the people complaining?

It's like they've go no other thought but to somehow piss on peoples perceptions in order to elevate their own.

If people want to have a view, have a whinge and take time to post it then why do some feel the need to try and tell them that their view is wrong whilst not actually having any interest in the matter.

Seems such a must'ness for must'ness sake.

Yes, you're right. We should introduce "No disagreeing" into the Code of Conduct. Would make things much easier.

would it be man city are joint top if we was 2nd NOPE

the fans have to start to see that the media are the most powerfull people in football they are the 1 who but the pressure on the players and fans
they calling it 1way utd way

remmember last season with fergie about who was that take his pass away
skysports have to keep them sweet and utd use them to wash there dirty knickers in public

utd are crap and should be out of the top 4 with that team
but with the power of skysports and the refs in there pockets they call the shots

just ask why rooney has not been booked this season in the league
that foul mouth get and never does no wrong

I don't know, cos it's a forum? Much like the the same comments would be made if the thread was of the opposite view, and fair enough too because like I say, it's a forum.

They have the best points haulage at this point in the season of any of their recent sides, which means we do too. That isn't the fruits of a shit team mate
