Well, I'd rather play them at this particular moment than Barcelona. Don't know if we'd beat them or not.

This all day long - time to get to it - they've had two 10 day breaks so no excuses the rest of the season re tirednessManchester_lalala said:Just goes to show, with the right attitude you get along way in this competition. I'm sick of our half arsed performances, it's about time we showed up at barca next week. We can beat anyone on our day so lets have them.
Unlucky schalke, what a performance.
Spot on,schalke came with nothing to lose, and nearly pulled it off far better side tonight,if we can put in a similar effort next week we might have a chance,it all depends on pellegrini's set up and the players putting in a shift...Manchester_lalala said:Just goes to show, with the right attitude you get along way in this competition. Honest question but why would a manager play youngsters if he is only expected to be at the club for 3 years? Schalke have an injury crisis as well at the moment that has forced them to use him. Farfan, Draxler, Kevin Prince Boateng obviously Choupo-Moting wre all under pressure. Why would I risk playing a kid when they are unpredictable. Said it before but even the likes of Messi, Iniesta, Muller etc had years where they were slumping and relatively poorly. Unless a manager has security why risk it.sam-caddick said:That Shalke performance has made me a little more optimistic about next week as long as we can replicate the drive and hunger.
Also, that Sane was playing against our U19's last week, he didn't look out of place tonight and scored a great goal, hopefully we cam see that playing our youngsters isn't something to be afraid of.

He has ego problems. Thinks he is too good to be dropped. He is a liability.inchy14 said:Every time I see Casilas I'm certain they'll go for De Gea
