Draw will take place on Friday 5th August 2016 at 11am in Nyon, Switzerland.

It will be decided during the draw who is at home first and who is away first.

The 1st leg will take place on 16th/17th August 2016. The 2nd Leg will take place on 23rd/24th August 2016.

There are 2 sections in the draw, the Champions route and the League route, City are in the League route. There are 10 teams in each route, meaning 5 ties in each route. The teams are seeded in each route, a seeded team will be drawn against an unseeded team. A team from the Champions route cannot draw a team from the League route and vice versa.
