Very nice draw, it's hilarious to me how quickly last seasons route to winning it is ignored by others, we had the hardest route possible and still smashed everybody on our way to the final, we get one favourable draw and we're back to being the luckiest side on earth.

Meanwhile, Arsenal, first season back in it for a long time and they get the easiest group arguably ever, 1st seeds in that group finished bottom, no other 1st seed managed that which tells you the strength of their group and then they get a nice tie in Porto who are specialists in going out in the last 16.

Further proof the competition badly needs a shake up as there's not a single interesting tie amongst the draw imo. Sad thing is, uefas definition of a shake up is to make things even worse and somehow more dull from next season onwards.

If the ties go as you'd expect, there should be some tough clashes in the latter rounds at least.

We'll never have a better chance of back to back champions leagues, we can only throw it away.
I have had this horrid feeling since they get lucky with their group and seedings, with Juventus being out and that the buggers will win the competition..

Benfica in the QF, Villarreal in the SF two seasons ago.

As a side note, I'm glad our thread about them is simply named "Liverpool thread". Far more classy than their equivalent about us. But nobody cares about City, right?
Spot on. The stupid, childish names they have for other clubs on RAWK is laughable, but unsuprising.

We needed that bit of luck, earned of course by our superb Group Stage, if United fans are unhappy with our easy draw they could have finished above them?
