Really not arsed who we get, it tends to be the same teams every year because of the many rules meaning the picks are automatic half the time and there's absolutely nobody to be worried about in pots 3 or 4. We will most likely get a team from 2 of Germany, Spain and Italy and then one other.

I think there's a seriously strong chance we can retain this. The premier league is the strongest it's ever been in relation to the rest of Europe, Barca are not a shadow of the side from the past 20 years and they're the best spanish side, madrid will always be a threat and they've got the foundations for an incredibly strong side set for the next decade but weve bested them a few times in recent years, they'll certainly fear us more than we would fear them.

Italian teams are improving but still massively off the level needed to win, PSG are no threat, German teams, nobody outside of bayern are a problem and yhe rest of Europe are just filler.

I only see us, madrid or bayern as the 3 realistic winners after that you'd have to look at arsenal and united as the next strongest which says everything.

We really shouldn't be wetting ourselves about the group stage. Respect ALL the other 31 sides in the competition, even the pot 4 "minnows". You don't get a pass into the Champions League out of the back of a corn flakes box. BUT FEAR NO ONE. Remember....

I’m confident. I think we’ll rightly be favourites when the group stage kicks off…. BUT:

1. So much can happen between now and June. Impossible to tell who the form sides will be.

2. I honestly think our squad is smaller/weaker than last season. With the added pressure of the CWC, we may struggle to rotate or handle injuries compared to last year.

I would say the UEFA people will start talking around 5, and start pulling names out around 5.10. Usually awards in between each round (which you would hope we would fare quite well in), and it will have finished before 5.45 I reckon. The rest will be their pundits saying a combination of "tough draw", "theyll be happy with that", "could have been worse" etc.
