How are Real Madrid in Pot 2? They've been immense in Europe? And the other side of the coin, how the hell are we (Arsenal) also in Pot 2 - we've been outside the CL for ages and have stunk out the Europa League?!!?

Pot 1 is for Champions of the top ranked leagues, the and previous season title holders of the Champions League and Europa League. Real didn't win anything. Arsenal were due to be Pot 3 but Juve got banned from Europe so moved up into Pot 2.

From Pot 1 we can't draw City so Bayern is the team I'd least want to play - not in the least to avoid Kane getting his customary penalty against us.

AC Milan and Real Sociedad are the teams you don’t want to draw ideally.

Celtic too to a certain extent as they get all riled up for the battles of Britain.

Feyenoord, Braga and Antwerp would be the best draw. Worst would be Bayern, Milan and Sociedad as you've pointed out.

Probably doesn't matter for City who you get as you'll go through but I imagine worst case would be Madrid, Milan and Lens (as you couldn't get Sociedad from pot 4 if you'd already drawn Madrid in pot 2) as those games would need a strong selection and ideally you'll want to rotate as much as possible with so many matches being played in the league and cups plus you have that World Club tournament as well which the South Americans take very seriously and will play very hard.

Close to a 50% chance of an easy draw with Europa league winners going straight into pot 1 which i think is wrong so out of 7 teams you can draw, Sevilla, Benfica and Feynoord should be winnable games

Its the strong pot 3 or 4 teams that can potentially stop you qualifying.

I'd fancy us to get through the group whoever we draw and into the knock outs. At knock out stage I'd fancy us against anyone apart from City, Madrid and Bayern.
