Champions League 5th/6th May

Did Pep give a post match interview / press conference? Did he avoid eye contact? Did he rub his chin?

Bayern had the best squad in the world last 4 years, they were very unlucky against Chelsea, won it against Dortmund and Guardila's tactics have cost them against the Spanish teams.

Monday Night football discussed some of the flaws like playing three 30 years olds at the Nou Camp, the 3 at the back. This was so obvious to anyone that watched the game that it's amazing he got so little criticism. Bayern did this in spite of Pep,

Then of course he plays Lahm in central midfield, where he is good, but nothing special whilst Rafinha is at centre back. It's funny that people criticise Bayern because they have the best defenders in the world. Much like City it's the suicidal attacking play that makes the defenders look worse. Since they are constantly exposed and every mistake leads to a goal.

Still had Robben and Alaba played it may have been a different result.

The front 3 of Barcelona were brilliant. Neymar has 37 goals from out wide and Messi might be the best player in the world.

I wonder if Luis Enrique will get the same adoration as Guardiola if he wins the treble. After all like Pep he took over a team that had won nothing the year before, but at least Pep' team had narrowly lost by a wonder goal to the CL winnners in the semis. Enrique took over a team that lost in the quarters.

Pep will fail badly in England will leave Bayern next summer after wasting the talent of their golden generation and leave the next manager a massive rebuilding job.

That last sentence could be the reason why he will want to leave Bayern this summer, before any downturn becomes significantly apparent.

From what I read of those who look, plenty on the Bayern forums share your opinion of him.

But...but, he's the Messiah. He's gonna ride into town and save us from the hell that is 2nd in the league and last 16 elimination from the chumps league. It's a nailed on cert'.

Or am i getting mixed up with that other fella at Barcelona?

Away from the Pep thing; I am well looking forward to tonight. Barca making the final piles even more pressure on the Madrid Raggies. Their arrogant twatzoid fans will turn quickly unless they get an early goal.

Well, i am sure you can trust uefa to use all the powers in their hands to make the whole "msn" vs " bbc " final happening.

true. UEFA will be wanking themselves silly at the prospect of their dream final. Expect some helping hand for Madrid tonight if things are looking tight.

I think Juve have every chance no matter how much displeasure the UEFA cartel might feel.
