Champions League Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid

Watching these two clubs you see how far we still have to go.

These two midfields resemble swarms. Ours shit it in a few of the CL games.

Was thinking the exact same thing. So much pace and energy. Even Athletic Bilbao, nowhere near the quality of either of these teams, showed what you can do to a team like United with just full on pressure. You just couldn't see Barry fitting in anywhere on that pitch tonight, love him though I do.

Cracking game. Would normally be neutral where these 2 teams are concerned but as I said in the Barca v Chelsea thread last night I'm in Madrid the weekend of the final so would like to see them go through as the whole city will be bouncing.

pepe clearly handled the free kick or was that just me?

It would have been a joke of a penalty, just as was the penalty awarded for Madrid (or Bayern :D). Actually, the whole free kick was given after a brilliant dive by Robben.

Kassai is having a shocker (he fucked up our game against Bayern too) but the players with their diving all over the place (Robben, Di Maria, Ozil) doesn't really help him out.
