Seriously though mate - how is that not fixed?

There were 1.6m possible draw combinations. How can someone put up a page 21 hours ago with all the draws correctly called?

I am not big on conspiracies, but I am struggling to see how this is not clear evidence of it being fixed.

I don't know how you can have 1.6 million different possibilities from 16 teams, when some of the ties are impossible anyway, (same groups in first round, same countries). There are only 4 teams we could have faced. There's nothing stopping someone sitting behind their desk at mummy and daddy's all weekend and coming up with thousands of pieces of paper with UEFA logos and the 'draw' on, then putting it on twitter. It proves nothing, unless you want it to prove something. Also, if it is proof, why is it only random people on twitter and various football forums who are discussing it? Why aren't the police involved if that piece of paper is proof of manipulation?

I have it on good authority that the United ball was fitted with little electrodes that gave the person picking it a little shock when they touched it, just so they knew it was United's ball. What is unconfirmed is that the shocks came out to the beat of the Cantona Christmas song.
In the real world though, United drew one of the opponents they could face, and nothing more.

It's believed the creators of the "corruption" accounts set up an account and dont have followers initially. They then "predict" every possible scenario, i.e (Barcelona v Man City, Barcelona v Schalke, Barcelona v Galatasaray etc) in seperate tweets, which is more likely to be about 40-50 than 1.6m, and then delete the incorrect tweets once the draw is unfolding. Quite simple when you think about it.

Fair enough with the banter part but as you say it's all about opinion's which make's the
forum but you take it to the nth degree when just ignoring people would be easier don't you think?

You're pissing in the wind on here mate - everything in football is fixed with the sole intention of destroying Manchester City and ensuring that we never win another game or trophy ever again.
Nobody can explain why this is so - it just is, so don't even bother looking for a motive.
Now I'm no expert, but I'd say that this evil masterplan has been less than successful of late.
You just can't win with the hardcore conspiracy theorists - they see a bogeyman behind every single dodgy throw-in or free kick, so clearly a Champions League draw must be bent.

No, that would render the forum useless. My take is that someone posting a picture on twitter to state the draw is fixed is as far-fetched as me saying United's ball is laced with electrodes. The same goes to those who immediately took to this forum to express their outrage at United's 'easy' draw instead of celebrating us playing Barca - that too deserves some light-hearted banter in the form of balls being wired up. Why would I not post what I think? I could be like the rest of the flock and agree with the majority, but then that wouldn't be a true reflection of what I actually believe, would it?
Like I say, I can only reply to what's posted initially and you will notice I never create thread after thread about there not being some kind of corruption/biased/agenda/media hating on us etc. What I actually do is reply to the threads created that say there is, so it's not actually me bringing it up in the first place is it? It's just me disagreeing with such beliefs, i.e. contributing to the forum.
Go and tell the believers to give it a rest, in the interest of balance and fairness like. You'll be here all day.

I just love the irony of me being told to shut up when the majority of posts on this discussion come in day in, day out in favour of their being an agenda. It seems those who don't believe it aren't allowed to say so. They didn't count on someone as persistent as me though. ;-)

Tie of the draw is easily Barca vs City. Mouthwatering tie. Other draws when us expected. I don't see why people are surprised by it. Arsenal vs Bayern is another great tie and don't think the outcome is as forgone as many people seem to think. United should go through and it is nice for Drogba to return to the bridge. Dortmund should win, but Schalke will likely me humiliated.

United got the team they were 2nd most likely to get.
