Going Milan via Dublin, back via Brussels £179 Got timed out on a 60 notes flight, now the ****s are mithering me to book, fuck em. Digs for 2 nights a spit away from the ground for a ton and there is a pub called the Pirate close by.

Zagreb, might do a day trip, sounds hairy though.

Is Zagreb that bad? Is it likely that City fans will be unable to move around freely?

My wife fancies a couple of days there, but no point going if it’s like Napoli

No better or worse than anywhere else. There's always scare stories and never, or hardly ever any bother.

Act sensibly, don't make stupid decisions and you'll be fine. If you're wife is coming Zagreb's Christmas markets are meant to be the best in Europe.

The stadium is very exposed though and there is no roof, so it is going to be cold as fuck.

The cap by UEFA is for away fans. The governing body has agreed a deal with the continent's top clubs which - starting from next month - will see away tickets cost a maximum of £63.50 in the Champions League and £41 in the Europa League. [@MikeKeegan_DM]

Take it we are all meeting up close to the ground.
Got digs close to Gambara metro and links to the San Siro with bus and tram.

I can’t remember much being around the ground, just a few bars but it wasn’t match day so more maybe put on and metro was some walk away but believe a new branch was being started so may be up and running now

Plenty in and around the san siro on a matchday. Bars, food stalls the lot.

We generally drink in bergamo vs Milan when we are there for serie a. Its straightforward to get there and also cheaper to drink in bergamo.

Makes me think on a conspiracy theory level that our draws make sense to UEFA and our rivals.

We get weaker groups, thus no advertising and aired on BT Sport 47 whilst our rivals are given prime marketing across Europe whilst being protected from us. Then in the knockouts we have to eventually face one so they then turn on the ref/VAR screwjob so the only time the prime international audience watch us in the comp we get beaten by a favoured club. Perfect way to manage us really.
