Champions League Draw (Shakhtar, Napoli, Feyenoord)

To be honest I think being in pot 2 helps a lot. There are a lot of strong teams in there. We may get a tough one from group one but I can't see any major threats in the other two pots.

Not really, we need to win three qualifying rounds. I think you will find that.

Our first team doesn't cost 20 more times than kilmarnocks. Our team has cost £26m.

Sadly for you, Kilmarnock is my Scottish team (roots there) so I know a thing or two about them.

Kilmarnock haven't spent a penny on transfers since 2010 (and even then it was £45k).

The side that lined up against you at the weekend cost the grand sum of nothing. £0. Fuck all.

So yes you're right, you first team doesn't cost 20 more times than Kilmarnock. It costs a whole lot more.

That's amazing. I thought maybe a million or so. Fuck me. I don't know wether to commiserate or applaud you.

Regardless we'll be in the toughest group possible with United in the easiest.

We will get our customary 2nd position finish in the group of death as always and united will get relegated to UEL even though they have a easy group. The will probably win the europa again then claim they won a trophy when we didn't.

It might actually help if we could get Juventus from Pot 1, that rules out Napoli, Roma and of course Liverpool and Tottenham from Pot 3, leaving us with Basel, Olympiakos, Anderlecht and Besiktas. Pot 4 isn't that worrying except maybe Leipzig. So as long as we avoid Real and Bayern from Pot 1, we should have relatively comfortable group. Monaco, Napoli and Leipzig is maybe the only tricky scenario I see if we avoid the big 3 from pot 1.

Like someone said, Pot 2 is strong which actually benefits us.

+1
Death groups are still possible but strong sides in pot 2 against whom we cannot play in the group stage will help us.

I don't think you need to be overly worried about whatever group you are in. Better for the nerves if it's easier, but if city don't qualify that will be a total balls up.
