Champions League Draw (Shakhtar, Napoli, Feyenoord)

At the very least, the current format should be scrapped, no shitty tv groupings or own country protection that results in the same groups year in year out. Nah the europa league has a place. Gives mid table sides a shot in europe. I loved it when we were in it playing obscure sides from the Faroes.

Without seeding you get a load of average sides in the quarters and semis to just be absolutely battered by the Madrids of this world

Dont know why anyone is moaning tbh never has the CL been this exciting. PSG vs Bayern, Dortmund vs Madrid, City vs Napoli etc and this is only the group stage!

I get that but it adds more excitement at least. As it is, nobody gives a shit until the semi's maybe quarters at a push.

Completely agree. Will be a cracking match. Once pot 1 was done and we had a favourable draw getting Napoli on a football perspective was an ace draw.
 
Could have been worse; much worse.

I hope this doesn't sound arrogant, but if we have designs on becoming one of Europe's élite, we really should win this group without too much trouble.
