They aren't all ridiculous though, blind dismissal is just ignorance not intelligence. I wasn't moaning about it personally but you'd be more of a muppet to deny that it's more than a little weird just how regularly United get easy draws, to the point where you can pretty much count on it(predictions based on data from previous years) when it's supposed to be random chance. It's not conclusive but there's a case to be made clearly something doesn't look right.
We should just be happy with the draw we've got though and concentrate on our own path, then smash um if we meet them hopefully. :)

UEFA will do anything to screw over Manchester City.
UEFA will do anything to ensure their glamour teams are in the Final (e.g. Real Madrid).
So, the argument goes that they we will inevitably get Real Madrid. How the hell is that good for Real Madrid to play us in the groups? It makes absolutely no sense. So in this case, yes it is ridiculous.

The point was not all the conspiracies are that far fetched as someone claimed and to say so would be blind dismissal(blanket statements) not logic at all(for some there's cases to be made looking at the facts without repeating myself too much) which I thought I pointed out quite clearly.It is not blind dismissal. Like I said though there's no point being bogged down with that when we should be happy with our own draw instead so I can see why the negativity of it grates on some. I like the CL personally and I would love(yes "love it") to see City start to make their mark in Europe, some will never let themselves enjoy it because of UEFA it seems but each to their own.

Far from it, we were never in the class of Madrid so it was a safe draw, and so it proved. Now I think we can compete we've avoided them. Funny that. Sure as night follows day though the rags get an easy group and yet nothing seems suspicious to you...
