Am I seeing too much overconfidence in this thread? Inter is a decent team imo. It will be a tough game. More so because it's CL final . Remember lyon . Who would have thought they would beat us 3-1 !!!

We only had three days training for today’s game. Got a full week for Inter. Thought we took it easy today. That’s how good we are. We will be a different animal next Saturday.

Tend to agree with this. We need to go and beat Inter now, it's one more game - but it'll be the biggest club game these players will ever play in. Get it over the line, don't stop here.

Inter will prove really difficult opposition, they're in some run of form themselves and going in as the 'underdog' will suit them just fine I suspect. Time for us to get on the front foot, dominate the game and create chances like we know we can do.

Come on City, let's do this!!
 
Reckon the sheer relief of getting through today maybe coming through as overconfidence on the forums but I don’t think we’ll see that from the lads next Saturday, in no way they’ll underestimate IM - they’ve seen off just as formidable opponents on their way to the final as us. That said, the confidence lift from today in addition to knowing that that Lahoz will be on a beach fucking miles away from the game is massive. Yes, we’ll get the shithousery etc but we’ll get past them.
 
This is the one time I don't believe City will pummel a team. I'm going for 2-0 City
