I think a bigger travesty would be putting Ake on the bench when he has had as close to a perfect season as it’s possible for a defender to have. He has risen to every challenge this year.

He 100% deserves to start on his own merits. I feel for Walker but he may still have a role to play.

My hope is this was done because of injury & not because Pep's overthought the game AGAIN & is gonna come with Ederson & Haaland swapping positions! :-/
