Perfect team selection. I even said days back Walker is not needed. They have no speedster to stop out wide, so the upside of having Akanji and Ake’s superior ability on the ball outweighs the upsides that Walker can bring in this particular game.

In a few games later in the season Mkhitaryan played ahead of Brozovic, it might have been injury. Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu is a decent MF, it might be even the best in Serie A this season.
