Champions League Final | Tickets - 20k each

I don’t know about this years cup scheme member numbers, but last year the figure floated about was around 17000. That would make sense seeing as there’s barely any regulars that sit around me on champions league nights. I think it will go down to season ticket holders.
On cheesemans podcast the other day, the city matters fella who's in contact with the club a lot says we have:

36,000 ST Holders
15,000 Cup Scheme Members

how many of the 20k tickets will actually go to Season ticket holders and Cityzens etc. I would assume that the club will take a lot of tickets for corporates and sponsors

Just browsing on skyscanner. Flights home on that Sunday from Istanbul look awful. Cheapest seems to be one at 1:30am which obviously we will still be at the game, all the rest are late evening flights. Is there any smart heads here with good flights home?

I’d say that’s about right. Due to cost of living and other factors, that 17000 number from last season would have taken a slight decline for this campaign. I’d also say 1/3 of those 15000 members wouldn’t buy a ticket due to the costs involved. It will go down to season ticket holders.

Etihad are not licensed to fly those routes, though, which is why it was done through TUI & Jet2.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Pegasus routes were something to do with Sports Options. Slots and aircraft are a lot harder to come by than they were in Covid times.

I remember when the CL final was held at OT in 2003 between AC Milan and Juventus. The amount of flights in and out of Manchester Airport that day was insane.

Slots can always be found. Airports will always work around them for one day and for the additional landing fees. There will be loads of flights from Milan as well.

Wondering how many airports are in Istanbul? There is actually a total of three airports in Istanbul – Ataturk International Airport (ISL), Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW), and Istanbul International Airport (IST).

However, most foreigners might only know of Istanbul International Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) because Ataturk Airport no longer has any commercial passenger flights.

Below we’ll talk about all of the three airports in Istanbul and what you need to know about them!

It wouldn't surprise me if City and either AC or Inter get a different airport. The Turks won't want both sets of fans arriving and leaving at the same time and from the same airport. Especially if City win and the Ultras are waiting in the airport at the same time after the match and during the night.

I already have my flights booked, including Istanbul to MILAN after the game on the Monday that could be interesting !
