I think its done … its at Wembley … the Wembley Hilton no longer shows in search results with any availability. It did 12 hours ago.

And the Ibis & Novotel have NO availability.

Thankfully I already nabbed a room at the Premier Inn (which is also now full)

Why?

Because there will be more than 2k tickets on sale and the league cup tickets went to every season card holder so everyone had a chance to get one if they wanted to. The 2k who jumped through hoops to go deserve to be rewarded imo

Because some people have spent years going to games up and down the country and across the continent. Some people have spent 10 years on the cup scheme hoping for a day like this, making lots of sacrifices and pledging commitment to the cause.

To then throw all of that out of the window and prioritise people who attended one game would make a mockery of the cup scheme and the points system.

Did we ever work out how many folk were on the Champions League scheme?

This has always been the big question. Nobody knows definitively. It's always something that has been fluid, so people may start the season on the scheme and then leave.

I said a couple of days ago that I had heard that fewer than 10,000 were on it but that's never been confirmed. Looking around the Etihad at home CL games, one would guess that the information is right. Every year we've been in the competition, the number appears to have decreased.
