Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

Do you get a side of kebab with the match ticket if it to go ahead in Istanbul?
In all seriousness though, isn’t it funny we have all spent so much time pontificating on the venue that the elephant in the room has not been addressed...... the old ballot vs loyalty points debate. I assume this will be on a ballot of all ST holders possibly on the European cup scheme for 19/20????
Why would it be on a ballot? It’ll be sold like every other away champions league game on loyalty points along with being part of the Euro cup scheme

That's literally the whole point of the thread?

Your first 4 points are fair enough but the 'COVID situation' is the reason why people are discussing this.
I know that but I suspect a lot of people would be saying exactly the same thing about having it in this country even if COVID didn’t exist.
It was the same for Chelsea v Utd in Moscow and Arsenal v Chelsea in Baku in the Europa league.
Not a chance it is getting moved from Istanbul If they are guaranteeing 25,000 fans, more than would be allowed in if it was in this country. UEFA will be more than happy with that. They can sell plenty of hospitality and won’t be bothered in the slightest if City and Chelsea fans can’t make it, the tickets will simply be sold elsewhere.

I still don't understand why, it's appropriate, in a global pandemic,to hold a football match in Turkey when both teams and their supporters are within 200 miles of one another in England. The usual Blazers from EUAFA shouldn't be allowed to turn up in Istanbul anyway because of COVID. Ffs just use Wembley - which is pretty much a home game for us in recent years!
You obviously haven't been paying attention. It's been mentioned several times, Wembley isn't available; it's being used for the EFL playoff finals that weekend.

The danger then is if they decide to move the playoffs to Villa Park and free up Wembley. Like has been said, it will feel like an FA Cup final if held there and benefit Chelsea. Just leave it over there.
