I agree with you that the criteria will follow the League Cup lines. Those 2,000 tickets proved more difficult than expected to shift. I can't imagine how we're going to shift three times that number for a game on the other side of Europe which requires people to quarantine for potentially up to 10 days upon return.Champs cup scheme first

That would probably apply to any city the game was moved to in any of the 'green' or 'amber' zones in Europe... The chance to even be close to the game would be too great a temptation for many fans. It has happened every year since the European Cup started - hundreds/thousands of fans travel in the hope of picking up a ticket, or just to be part of the atmosphere in the host city.If they played it in the UK you would have thousands of ticketless fans turning up in which ever city they picked , it ain’t happening .
