Just like our last European Trophy in 1970 which was ignored by the broadcasters who showed the FA Cup Final live on both BBC and ITV. We got the result on the radio and all we ever saw were the goal snippets much later on TV. Media bias was alive and well in those days.

How much do you think Istanbul have paid to host the final.
if UEFA move it, they will want that back.
wherever they move it to will also want a substantial amount.
and with limited gate receipts, UEFA will leave it where it is and lobby for a quarantine waiver for the players and staff.

Surely they could just move them all back a year. Currently Istanbul will make fuck all from it anyway where as next year the city could be booming.
