Champions League Final | Tickets - City Official Package + UEFA Tickets | 2022 Final (pg 1033)

I’ve had a ST since 1986 continually. These years of support counted for nothing when the new points system came in as the club deleted all previous records of attendance as far as I’m aware - they probably chucked it all in the infamous Peter Swales skip.
The platinum scheme was a disgrace when they brought that in. Buying loyalty? Wtf is that all about - it should work the other way round in that the more games you go to the CHEAPER your season ticket becomes!!! I foolishly went with it for a few seasons then had an epiphany; I figured that with my points I would ALWAYS be guaranteed a Wembley ticket and likewise a UCL Final ticket and so I binned it off and went back to gold. Wouldn’t you know your luck? City go and get to a UCL Final in a pandemic year and we only get 6k tickets! It’s that and that alone which has bit gold st holders on the arse. Otherwise it’s a shoe-in to get tickets for finals.
I managed to get one yesterday in the first new window (13090 points) but I really do feel for anybody who has missed out, who are on the scheme and who wanted to go as it’s obvious that you deserve a ticket. I really hope you all get lucky on Tuesday in the UEFA ballot.

I am very pleased for you my friend but whether I’m inside or out I shall be cheering just as loud come on city
 
Anyone sign up to club flights yday and heard any details yet? I called club yesterday as we hadn’t been booked on when I bought tickets on Friday but haven’t heard anything from flight company yet wondering if we need to panic or wait til Monday

Great post. Really hard to keep smiling though when you've been to every CL home game and joined the scheme every year. Such is life.

Basically we have the same argument every time demand outstrips supply. Funny how we didn't have this problem pre-2008 when the club were regularly not taking the full allocation of tickets for away games.

Slightly different this time. People on cup schemes have never been denied a ticket for a final until now. The argument here is not about attendance at away games as such, it's about a two-tier system that rewards those who buy extra points, which puts them ahead of people who go to the same number of games. There are people who go to some away games on gold seasoncards and some who never go to away games who are ahead of them on platinum seasoncards.

Exactly! How can anybody defend this as a fair system? The club were pissing down from above on their loyal fans when they brought this in.

Me and my brother both ST holders since 86 brother more 88 but as he goes alone can afford premium

I pay for wife and twin boys in SS second tier, can’t stick family stand so have to pay gold

As it stands brother can get ticket and I have no fucking chance

Wish all the blues well in the final and no issue towards anyone going but the club rewards the coin and not the loyalty with this buying points
