Does anyone think the Thursday Sunday thing will effect their chances of retaining the Premiership?

No they will still win it

"Plucky Liverpool, cruelly denied, robbed, fantastic fans, Starfish still the greatest in the world"

ITV will go to town now yet methinks it would be different had it been us. Fuck me we beat Munich and still got shit.
This, they will make excuses for them just like the rest of the media, then onto weds and our game and contrast the difference, even if we do get through....

I see Liverpool went out. Really poor performance from them to go out to Basel. They were even lucky to get the win they got against Ludogerets.

Was watching Dortmund, who drew. Such a strange team. They have a few players that could get into any team in the world, a couple of others that are world class and then others that could not make the Palace team. Gundogan seems back to his best. Great performance from him but: Mkhitaryan still cannot shoot, Kagawa is useless, Immobile works hard but is not good enough.

Basel are no slouches, they did the double over Chelsea last season.

Steve Gerard's last champions league game

As good a freekick as it was, I think he celebrated a little too vigorously. Just get on with it you got a game to win..

I thought the same. Stevie Meeeeee.

"We dust ourselves down and go again", said Stevie. OMFG, these people have absolutely no sense of the absurd.

Basel did the double over Chelsea in last season's group stage, not that it did them much good.
I know and knocked out Tottenham the year before in the Europa and Manchester United before that. However, they have continued to lose their players consistently. Good result for them.

Ramsey scored an amazing goal. Best goal I have seen in the CL this year.
