Which is exactly why they were created, money. It appeased the big clubs who were going to breakaway from their own leagues and form a European super league. I hate the champions league. I want us to win it but only because I want us to win every competition we enter.

I only want us to do well in it because the players and management team do.

If we ever win a Prem and CL double, the song I’d sing most the next season would be “we are the Champions, Champions of England” still and not “Europe”.
