Yes, had 2 or 3 more quiet games where he lacked the end product (but was still very good) after some real good matches but today with a great match, 2 goals and an assist. He needed his time but now with a more central role he really got better than ever.

It would have been fun for them to have lost at home 2-0, but no matter. The grand scheme of things is that – more than any other manager they've had since Ferguson – Solskjaer is a sustained exercise in papering over the cracks, and this is just the most recent example of that. Long may it continue. They won not a single trophy last season, but it was ‘acceptable’, because it would ‘set them up for a title challenge next season’. Little by little, and without particularly noticing it, they are slipping into the Arsenal position of eight years ago or so. That getting top four was acceptable.

This,was thinking this early they scrape through then get a plum draw,on the other hand they could still miss out altogether..the typical rag luck, watch them qualufy after they played in an Europa League tier group then draw salzburg in the knock out stage while we'll have to play Atletico or Juventus

They’ll end up getting salzburg as you mentioned,or maybe sheriff while we get Bayern ..They're going to get exposed eventually , you can't play vs these average teams too far into the competition. Just imagine them vs Bayern , they'd get destroyed

They’re one of UEFAs cash cows and glory teams. They won’t be allowed to be drawn v Bayern. It would be carnage.

Atalanta are very unusual for an Italian team , they havent got a clue how to defend leads they always play an open game the second half was predicatble , Atalanta are a great team to watch there the equivalent of Leeds under Bielsa , i always watch their games on the box because you know there are going to be goals at both ends.
Wouldnt be surprised if they put 4/5 goals on the Rags in the return game and lose by the odd goal , not good for the heart rate if you support them.
