European games still applying handball rule as the way it was in Premier League at the start of the season. Can't really blame the ref when it's the laws of the game that are wrong.

Peter Walton shows you the calibre of the officials in charge of our game, and it is not very encouraging.Peter Walton on BT said it was penalty because the player made himself "unnaturally" bigger. It's the law he said. But he would say that wouldn't he?

PSG were shite, Leipzig weren’t much better.
Kean looked a decent surprisingly, bit confused as to why Everton loaned him out. City should definitely get 25 million for Angelino at least.

incredible how good he could be in a top side, he would score 40+ in ours, especially in and around the 6 yard box!
It could have been worse, kimpebe could have walked for the handball (penalty incident), Kehrer should have been booked for that foul on Angelino etc. But the ref felt the need to apologize to PSG players for a foul while tolerating marquinho's attitude throughout the match, unbelievable...2 reds for PSG. Thankfully they miss the return fixture against Leipzig.
Fantastic win for Leipzig coming from behind, against a competitive PSG (despite the players the French side was missing). Di Maria missing that penalty was obviously a key moment...
Leipzig never stopped believing. Congratulations to Nagelsman and his boys, he's doing a great job with limited resources...
PS. I don't expect Poulsen to be an adequate replacement for Werner. But his lack of concentration from the moment he entered the pitch was unacceptable. 2 fouls he won in injury time, the second leading to Kimpebe's red, were his only contribution in the match. At the same time, his teammates were bleeding on the pitch...
PS2. Sabitzer has just returned, searching his form, nevertheless remains the heart and soul of the team. While Nkoukou, always reliable, a source of inspiration for his teammates...

And to play in the European Cup (as it was in those days) it was only open to a country's league champions, plus the holders from the year before. That's why both City and the rags were in it.Remember it all too well....we'll terrify Europe.
