What is wrong with that? Should he have said ‘person of colour’ or BAME player?

Maybe he should have just pointed or walked over to the guy and said “this guy”.

I have no problem describing people by their characteristics, including race, I’d still find it distasteful in the context.

He’s right in front of him with a name and number, just say ‘number 9’ or the guys name. You wouldn’t say ‘book the white guy’, ‘book the gay guy’ etc.

I agree with you, but I don't think there's a racist intent, more a lack of education. The chances that the player knows its the literal translation for black in romanian is slim to none which has exasperated the situation

I'm not convinced the reason we let Angelino go like this was a decision the club made. I suspect he wasn't willing to be here hence why he left so promptly last season.

I am 100% against any form of racism.

I am a supporter of every player taking the Knee.I got a bit of shit for saying that.

I just think it is important that we see evidence before grabbing the pitch Forks

But when should taking the knee end? Or do you think it should be a permanent fixture at all top flight games?

P.S. Do you think the police should be abolished? What is your view of capitalism or are you a communist? These are some of the aims of #BLM uk and I don’t even think most footballers (who by making this gesture are in effect supporting that organisation) will actually know this.
