Its seems there is a problem with playing our game in Germany due to restrictions. Monchengladbach has asked for our game to be moved to Denmark at FC Midtjylland cause we might not be able to travel or play it in Germany!

Uefa is also discussing the possibility of making the games a knockout game for us and Liverpool due to the restrictions!

What would you prefer?

no real advantage with coming top of group........but agree 1 less game may help us in the long term.

broadcasters may have a view on this with less advertising opportunity

Think Leipzig v Liverpool single game based on scousers current form may swing balance towards the germans.

Two legs, I’m sure we would have got past Lyon over two legs rather than the bunny in the headlights performance being too cautious. Unfortunately Uefa want it all, they want the Euros playing and European club competitions completing. Crazy they are trying to send football teams over borders in Europe when we are trying to control new strains of covid.

that all the teams play to the same format , if they want to go to just one game than it has to be the same for each team. You cant have one team being knocked out on a natural ground over one match and yet other teams can play home and away. One team has one chance of going through yet other teams have two changes of going through thats not far. Its bad enough the fa cup having different rules for different clubs ie VAR at some grounds but not others.

is it right to be travelling around europe in a pandemic anyway ?
