Newcastle are reminding me a bit of us when we first got in the Champs League… that is to say they’re playing the occasion rather than the opposition.

They are a better team than Milan but they are playing within themselves.

I thought that. They’re playing without any real character which is a polar opposite of what they are domestically. Maybe just the occasion getting to them a bit.

It’ll be chalk and cheese when they play Milan at their place, I’d guess.
