Lee Dixon last night on the BBC commentary sounded suicidal when Madrid scored, maybe he's a closet Chelsea fan.

That's how I see it mate. Get through tonight unscathed and then two legs against the best team left in it. Napoli were the team that concerned me, now they're out we should be beating any of those remaining teams. Chelsea beat Milan home and away. They only got past Spurs by one goal, and even then I don't know how because they're nothing special. Inter should get through as well and that Milan derby will be very feisty. If one team is looking like it's through, expect dirty fouls/dives to get others injured and sent off for the final!

A lot still to do of course, but from what was a very hard draw there are big benefits in us having the two games with Madrid potentially. Especially going away first. Real are an excellent side, still far too underrated. They have quality and experience and then a lot of young talent to come on when needed. But I don't think they're better than last season whereas I think we are when it comes to balance.

Agreed.
 
I remember that the last time Inter/AC played in the knockouts, the game was cancelled when fireworks were thrown on mass on to the pitch. There's an iconic photo of Materazzi leaning on Rui Costa's shoulder while there's flames around them.

There is no question ability wise City can win it. You could have these last few years, it’s a mentality issue in the CL. Sort that and you could do a few in a row. The first one will be the hardest, then it’s pick a number.
