The Premier League IS completely dull in comparison, because of the way it is being run by pgmol. If the game last night had been a Premier League game todays papers would be full of the referee: obvious penalties not given, players sent off for the most innocuous of reasons, perfectly good goals disallowed with no explanation as to how or why.

I saw a decent game of football last night where the two sides went out to play the game the way it should be played. It was end to end stuff and by the final whistle I was as breathless as the players who had taken part in the spectacle.
Compare that to the usual hoof-ball dross served up by many Prem teams, and compare last night's ref to the likes of Michael Oliver or Alty Man, whose only concern is to ensure their own names are splashed across the tabloid headlines the next morning.

Our national sport is being dragged down to farcical levels because Howard Webb sees his future on 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.'
