Champions League Games | Semi Finals | 29/30 April & 6/7 May '25

Arsenal had about a 35 minute window where if they had a striker of any note they'd have pulled a goal back, PSG look fragile at times but Arsenal didn't capitalise on their mid game slump.

Overall the stats for the game were very similar, tarquins still in it and it's all or nothing over at the smelly sewer.

"team" being the operative word. Which is what they are now. In stark contrast to the era when they had Messi, Neymar and Mbappe in the side. They were a bunch of individuals, not a team.
They were like Fulham when Rodney Marsh & George Best were there.

I’m not convinced by PSG yet. They are good side but they are still very young. They nearly blew it at Villa.

I’d rather Inter end up winning it.

Don't know if anyone will know the answer to this, but it's been bugging me a little, so here goes.

Last night at the Emirates there was pitch side advertising boards all the way round that all showed one advert at a time. For a while, Qatar Airways was shown, with a tagline of "the best airline in the world", which I found slightly amusing as it was at the Emirates (yes, I know we would have the same issue, but not right now).

So...

Qatar Airways are PSGs sponsor - is that why they were shown? Or do they sponsor the tournament as well? Because when the boards changed they all went to PS5, which I'm pretty sure is a tournament sponsor.

Feels a bit dodgy when a side who sponsors a club also sponsors a tournament they're in. Similar for Arsenal and the FA Cup I guess.

Villa were lucky though also - their first two goals were deflections. Obviously you'd take them, but I don't think PSG would have been worried at all otherwise.

They still took some beating back then though, we put in some great team performances to get past them.

Genuinely forgot Almo played for barca. Having seen the sides, I've switched from anticipating a barca win to thinking inter can get something here.
