Saw someone this morning say if the rags went out of Europe completely for the premier league to absolutely guaranteed a 5th team in the champions league at least one club will need to get in to the semi finals AND an English team to win The Europa League

The Media kept bigging them up telling us they scored 3 Goals away in all 3 away Games forgetting to add that (1) Bayern could easily have been 6-1 up when the scored 2 in “garbage time” as the Yanks call it (2) they blew a 2 Goal lead twice to lose to FC Kopenhagen -who hadn’t won a Champions League Game for 7 years and (3) they blew a 3-1 lead at Galatasary
