Ok all-Have just rung the club for clarification on this and this is what will happen.

For all champions league cup scheme members your ticket "bundle" is as follows:-

Colin Bell Stand Level 2 and East Stand Level 2

Adults: £114

16-21s / Over 65s: £90

Under 16s: £60

Disabled: £90

All other areas

Adults: £99

16-21s / Over 65s: £75

Under 16s: £45

Disabled: £75

So for myself as an example. I am in South level 2,so my 3 home games will cost me £99 in total. This will not be taken in one amount,it will be taken in 3 payments of £33 on the following dates:-

Manchester City v Bayern Munich – By 9am Tuesday 10th September 2013.

Manchester City v CSKA Moscow – Week commencing 8th October 2013.

Manchester City v FC Viktoria Plzen – Week commencing 28th October 2013.

The club told me that the minimum price for non cup scheme members will be a minimum of£5 per match more equating to the saving of £15 for Cup scheme members.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

Excellent work SHB and thanks.

£99 for 3 Champions League games is more than fair tbh.
I wonder what the prices are over at the swamp?!

You are welcome as ever pal

Whilst the discounted prices are very reasonable, I am not too keen on the way we are heading with regards to 'bundles'. Many blues will be unable to commit to all 3, maybe only wanting to attend 1, but their hand is being forced, and if they don't buy a bundle then their ability to attend their game of choice could well be affected.

You only commit to all three games if you are in the Cup Scheme..
Maybe I have read your post wrong but the bundle is just the price of all 3 games for cup scheme members.
If you only want to go to one then I am sure you wont have joined the cup scheme mate.

They are on sale to anyone, like the 'final five' package last season.

I just don't like the way that the club forces fans into multiple purchases of tickets; it is unfair on those fans who cannot commit to multiple games either for geographical/cost reasons or whatever.

This sort of scheme plays right into the hands of the 'wealthy fan' the club are trying to attract.

Good Value!!! You lot must be loaded or plain stupid!! I've had my season ticket for over 15 years now so I've been milked good and proper over the years infact I'm all outta milk!

I've paid £585 for a platinum season card in south stand lower and I've opted in all cup competitions except champs league so that's a saving of £99 for the initial group stage and prob £40+ for knock out stages (if we get there). so in all competitions you could be looking at £850-£900 for the season!!

I earn a modest £1200 after tax at work pay out £750 mortgage and bills! After food shopping I'm lucky to do anything never mind pay a one off £99 I'm afraid the club is no longer affordable for the average working man like me!! This season could be my last. (Might go live in Germany and pay £15 for ticket and rail travel to follow Dortmund lol!!
£33 a ticket for a midweek cup game is a fooking joke. Well done City you cocked up again. Wouldn't bother opening the 3rd tiers for the Pizen or Moscow games and the Munich game will struggle to sell out.

So long as people have an opportunity to buy one off tickets I don't have a problem. But you shouldnt have to buy three tickets to see City in the champions league.

I do agree but its all about supply & demand.
We never had such problems previously due to the simple fact we never made or even got near the Champions League. Times have changed. Maybe not necessarily for the better regarding prices but in terms of the team / club we have now become. The CL is simply a cash cow from start to finish and at every level and that includes the fans.

I still think £99 isn't that bad for 3 Champions League games. Yes they are midweek but CL games always are - except the final. I will find out what the prices are over at the swamp so we can do a comparison.

However I would hazard a good guess that apart from the Bayern game there will be plenty of tickets knocking around for people who want them.

Last season, each CL home game was £35 and the lowest attendance was 40,022 for Ajax.

Bayern will be £43

£33 is relatively inexpensive for a champions league game at home.

Go take a look how much tickets are in leagues 1 and 2 for normal league games.....

At the end of the day if you can afford it and tou want to go then you do it,if nit then no problems...

I will have it mate but that's modern day football. I am quite happy to pay because I would rather be here than watching us lose to Wycombe on a cold windy Tuesday or Wednesday night.
What do you think about the club potentially offering £299 season tickets when expansion is complete? I wouldn't say that is trying to rip fans off at all
