Champions League Last 16 draw - Schalke v City

A bird in the hand ( rags losing to PSG).
Is better than two in the bush ( rags beating PSG and then losing to us).
LR. Don’t give a toss how many birds you’re holding as long as we win, they lose! ;0)
‘I’ll be singing the Blues.’

Matija Nastasic: "I'm pleased we have drawn City. These will be two very special matches for me as I played for the Citizens before signing for Schalke. Consequently, I'll get to meet a few familiar faces. We know how strong our opponents are but we will give it our best shot."

Owen Hargreaves on BT Sport: "Schalke don't really have any great athletes like Lyon did, so I just think it's virtually impossible for this team. That could be a cricket score. I fear for Schalke. City will be absolutely delighted with the draw."

Very happy with the draw. Schalke have great fans. They welcomed us in with open arms last time we played them and I have always wished them well since. Will be nice to see nastasic again and good for Leroy to be reunited with them again. I think we should be too strong for them, they have been poor so far this season but last season they showed they can be very organized and showed a lot of heart. Coming back from 4-0 down away at Dortmund to get a last minute draw being a big highlight.
