Surprised by the number of people saying they want to avoid PSG as if they were the team to beat. We’d leather them.

They are struggling in Ligue 1 this season and were there for the taking last week. Barcelona weren’t clinical enough but in truth they should’ve gone through.

I’d love it if we drew PSG, they would suit our style to the core. Dortmund and the English teams are far more dangerous in my opinion, as well as Bayern of course.
 
Hopefully Scousers and Chelsea draw each other and get rid of one, Dortmund Vs Real or PSG would be good to lose one of those but I do fancy our chances over 2 legs against anyone if we play our game. Really don't fancy playing Bayern in the next round though truth be told.

I'd take all of them.

The last thing I want is to play Bayern in the final. They've got more experience, they have an easier run in domestically, and over 90 minutes, 1 mistake will kill us.

I rate our chances much higher over 2 legs, which means either 1/4 finals or semi's and really does it matter which one?

Beat Bayern in the quarter finals and with the belief we'd take from it and fear factor we'd gain from it, no one would stop us.

Liverpool are a bad side, and our lot know that. Chelsea are a work in progress, not ready to challenge for the CL yet, but I have a feeling we might see them in the FA Cup final if we get there.

Based on the fact Monaco, Liverpool, Spurs and Lyon have knocked us out in previous seasons I'm surprised everyone is looking to avoid the tougher teams. Yes Lyon was a one off, but still we're clearly much more vulnerable when we play a team we're supposed to beat. We bossed Madrid away and saw them off easily at home. That was a sign of our ability to win this competition. Then losing to Lyon was just the same old dross performance (ignoring system/lineup which played its part).

Who would you rather play in the final? The stakes are higher then, the pressure bigger. It's a different ball game. Liverpool have played in a couple. Bayern won it last time. PSG made the final and have that experience. I'd take any of them at this stage where over two legs we have the ability to beat them and the time to recover if we do make a mistake and concede.

I'd rather avoid Dortmund and Porto who have nothing to lose. Unlikely/no chance of winning their domestic leagues and can play with freedom in this competition. Let them go and knock out some one else!

We have the added pressure if we draw an "easier" team. The media will go into overdrive with how they have no chance of beating us. As they did against Spurs and Lyon. And that seems to lead to a nervousness through the squad. If we draw Bayern and go and beat them over two legs then that's a major confidence boost and hopefully Pep will then trust our system and players and not look to change things for any subsequent game.

Personally I'd like to see:
Liverpool v PSG
City v Bayern
Chelsea v Dortmund
Porto v Real Madrid

Then us playing any of the bottom four teams in the final. Real have the knowledge in the final as well but I think we'd beat them... although as a Barca fan that one might keep Pep up for a few nights sweating about formation and lineups!
