Not sure if this has been mentioned and it's thinking way ahead so just go with me on this one:

If we make the final and Chelsea or Liverpool do and we've started trialling events in this country like the FA Cup Final; what are the chances that UEFA moves the final to Wembley so it can be watched in person by 20% (or whatever figure the government chooses) of the capacity?
No chance UEFA take it away from Istanbul 2 years running I'm afraid

Much better and positive spin on it than me haha.

I agree but I do feel rhythm is a big factor and it breaks up with our players being away, fatigue and obviously injury risks are also a factor. Just hope it all turns out well is all. Pep has in the past cited rhythm and lack of games before big stage as a factor too, but I'm hoping it doesn't hinder us

We have a tough game away at Leicester as a good "warm-up" for the Dortmund game. And there's no way we will be complacent for it.

Leicester away
Dortmund home
Leeds home
Dortmund away
Chelsea FA Cup semi
Villa away
Tottenham League Cup final

It's a huge month and if we get through it continuing our winning form (rags aside) then we're into the CL semi's, FA Cup final, league will be secured (or near enough), and league cup in the bag.

Then May we can rotate in the league to keep the squad fresh, and look forward to CL semi finals and the FA Cup final whilst enjoying the momentum of the league cup win as a reminder of what that success feels like.

It's a make or break month. Luckily we can get through the first two games with a bit of rust and still achieve everything we want to from it.

UK has been removed from German red list of CV mutation areas and now is just a "risk area".

Travel from UK don't have to quarantine (10 days) with a negative PCR test not older than 48 hours (for North-Rhine Westphalia).

That means matches can be played in Manchester and Dortmund (as of now, but most probably also in early April).

Hope our greenkeepers are busy!

According to regional outlet "Ruhr Nachrichten" Sancho's right thigh injury is more serious than thought and he's set to miss til 14 April realistically, at least missing the 1st leg. On special expert treatment abroad right now.

Dortmund's focus should be the CL spot in the league as they can't win the CL anyway. Their match vs Frankfurt 3 days pre 1st leg is a 6-pointer for them and will need full team and intensity.

Our fixture list in mind we really should try to finish the tie in the 1st leg in Manchester. Must clean sheet. Minimum 2-0 would be more or less tie over. We can only beat ourselves ;)

Need to go full throttle and try to beat Dortmund 3-0 at home. Then can rest players a bit in the second leg.

I remember the last time we played Dortmund at home thinking well get an easy win. Then watched as a younger Mr Whippy took us apart in the most one sided game dominated by our opponents I ve ever seen at the Etihad whilst Joe Hart performed feats equivalent of King Canute at our end. (Only ever witnessed a great Arsenal side do that to us previously, the 5 before half time where we clapped them off)
I'm not counting our chickens just yet.

Different gravy now though without them having 'the yellow wall'. And of course Mr Whippy in Blue.

Dortmund are a decent side, but we really should be beating them over two legs.

I'm nervous for the game, but if we don't surpass them, it can only be seen as a huge failure given how good our current side is.
