Living a long way out of town and due to work commitments I've never managed a parade before. My 12 year old told me we need to go and I'll bunk school! I assume deansgate is the best spot for the drive by, but what's the crack for outside the cathedral rather than the town hall (I know it's being done up so the change of venue)? Is it a ticket job or a free for all on a first come first served basis? If its a free for all we are in the 05:30 train!
