I don’t know whether it’s the era I grew up in but football seems a bit backwards at the moment when you have Bournemouth, Brentford, Luton in the prem and then the likes of Wednesday, Ipswich etc in the third division

Charlton Athletic used to get 75,000 and challenge for league titles once upon a time.

Football changes. Old clubs fall away, new clubs come along and do well.
 
Wimbledon MK2 have just got to the Premier League. Expect hoof it and leg breaking football next season. Let us hope the fixtures mean City do not play them until Nov/Dec. Having said that be sure the EPL will have us at their place first game of the season!
