I've explained why, several times. It's the one ground I came closest to getting a hiding at. I was 15 or 16 years old, and couldn't punch my way out of a wet paper bag (still can't, to be honest). Yet a fan of theirs found it thrilling to give me a couple of digs in the face. You don't forget something like that. And others of my age on here have witnessed/experienced similar. Sorry, but I can't/won't forgive them. That is why I despise them.
First time I've heard you say it.

Did we win?

I remember vividly Leeds fans rioting in the away end at the Hawthornes many years ago because we were winning which more or less sent them down. They some how managed to rock the fencing back & forth until it gave way, then pushed the fencing down & stormed onto the pitch & started fighting with the line of police who had marched out & were standing across the full width of the pitch behind the goals of the away end.

The game was still being played & our keeper was already having to stand miles out of his area as he was getting pelted with coins & bottles.
I remember the police reinforcements including a load of mounted police running across the pitch & into the Leeds fans as the players, ref, linesmen & stewards ran the other way.

It was the by far the worst violence I have ever witnessed anywhere, never mind in a football stadium.
Of course, the Leeds knuckle dragging fans will no doubt be looking forward to 're-introducing themselves' to lots of old friends now they are back in the prem.
I will be amazed if they manage to actually behave themselves.

I'm sure leeds have lots of dickhead fans, as have all clubs, but you hate Leeds as a club because one twat punched you a couple of times? What if you got into a fight with a City fan, would you hate City then?

But I didn't, did I? Went to OT a few times in that era. Plenty of verbals thrown at me, but no one clobbered me. You don't like my reasoning; fine. You're perfectly entitled to your opinion. As am I.

Luton with an 85th minute winner against Hull.

If Wigan don't beat Fulham, they'll be down with that 12 point deduction.

On New Year's Day, Hull beat Sheff Wed away 1-0 with a Bowen goal in their 26th game of the season. After that game they sat in 9th place on 39 points, +6 goal difference and 16 points above the relegation zone.

Their crazy owner decided they were safe, had no ambition to get promoted and thought he could make a quick buck selling Bowen and Grosicki and not replacing them.

Since then, Hull have played 19 league games with the record:

P19 W1 D3 L15 GS: 17 GC: 50 GD: -33, Pts: 6/57.

Truly astonishing really.

Leeds have got a vicious bunch of fans — it was always touch and go when I went over there, I had to watch my back — but it's a big enough club to belong naturally in the PL, I think. In all fairness.

I had a friend who was just sitting in his car in the city centre, minding his own business, and a group of them just picked on him, dragged him out of the car, and beat him up. Nothing to do with football.
