Didn’t take Bournemouth long to grab the lead after the break. Can't have been even as long as 10 seconds. 4 touches from the kick off to Solanke scoring.

EFL have dropped the requirement to test for Covid on a match day, to reduce the chances of games being called off last minute.

Also increases the chances of a player spreading the virus.

Whilst I think we can all agree omicron is much less aggressive and we may well all soon be following South Africa and essentially ignoring the virus unless symptomatic, how does this move sit with everyone?

Looking at the top of the Championship table there is not a single outstanding team. Whoever gets promoted will almost certainly go straight back down.

The bottom 4 in the PL are also bobbins, how about having no promotion and relegating the bottom four in the PL? A 16 team league would be just about right.

Just watching the Reading vs Derby game. Had no idea that Andy Carroll was at Reading these days.

And Danny Drinkwater on loan from Chelsea, due to an embargo Reading were only allowed to sign players up to £8.5k a week. As Drinkwater is on £100k+ it's fair to say Chelsea are paying most of his wages.

TBH as much as one day I'd luv us to get back to the top division (as if that'll happen) pulling up the drawbridge may save the Championship, as it can't carry on as it is a pure basket case of a division.

Well run clubs like Bristol City have lost £400k a week for the last decade!!

Think the standard right down the leagues is getting worse :( ours is the weakest it’s been in ages and we still can’t get anywhere near .............

Don't worry mate, once enough US owners in prem a closed shop will be created, to protect the rest of the league structure of course

That second one in particular. Lovely finish
Saw Andy Carroll play for Newcastle in a Youth F.A. Cup game (quarter or semi final ?) against City, at the Ethiad.
Although he was a big lad, he also showed great skill and a disceptive, subtle touch.
City won, but he was very good and thought he could make it as a pro footballer.
Unfortunately, injuries fecked his career...
