Championship Thread | 2025/26

Nice to see the Championship referees are equally as shit as their Premier League colleague's.
Just switched on the West Brom game after watching the cricket. First thing that happens is a foul against a Blackburn player about 10 yards from the Albion box. The ball rolls back towards the centre circle to a Blackburn player. The ref says, advantage, play on. On what planet is a loose ball near the centre circle better than a free kick near the box. You're right Ref's are as shit as ever.

Another blinding free kick, to go with Manning's effort for Southampton. Twine for Bristol City, to put them 1 up at Bramhall Lane. Nothing ropey about the goal.

"TAXI!!!"

Normally their result would put a huge grin on my face, but even this feels hollow waiting for our inpending rogering tomorrow (and the rest of the season.)

At least somebody else has been bottom of the league for a while, even if it's only 20 odd hours

Not arsed about Wrexham, but still have a downer on Southampton after their crying about tickets for the final game at Maine Road.
The memory of that Bobby Stokes goal is their only positive.

Like Wrexham they've become a Hollywood team.

Yet the media seems to enjoy this.

If they were bought by Qatar they'd have been lumped in with us and called cheats.
Good blonde haired wholesome yanks instead of the evil dirty oil Arabs. Cunts don't even try to hide their fuckin racism!

Bannan sent off. He can't have too many arguments, really. Already on a yellow, he went into a 50/50 sliding challenge with Winks. He sort of got the ball, but his follow through was high and got Winks on the back of the thigh. With the rules the way they are (endangering an opponent), he was never going to get away without a second yellow. He seemed resigned to it; no argument from him.

Are Wrexham gonna be treated like a mini rags and dips now? More games on tv, commentators gutted when they concede.
