Eh? Luke Shaw looks nothing like Bruce. In Greggs ?
For which he should be eternally grateful.

Think it's a Trafford Tramps tradition for players to stuff themselves with Steak Bakes...Eh? Luke Shaw looks nothing like Bruce.

2-0. Again, Wednesday giving the ball away in midfield. Even without the points deduction, it'd be hard to see Wednesday surviving, given the amount of mistakes they make at the back.
John Sheridan in midfield. Pressman in goal. Pearson at CB, Warhurst and Worthington at FB (I think?). Didn't they get to the two domestic finals in one season? They are dreadful. I remember them in the top flight getting to cup finals and David Hirst banging in goals for fun. Ehat the fuck happened to them?
Hirst playing like Dino Zoff in goal against us as well. They are dreadful. I remember them in the top flight getting to cup finals and David Hirst banging in goals for fun. Ehat the fuck happened to them?

That was a lovely team to watch (except v us). Chris Waddle was another.John Sheridan in midfield. Pressman in goal. Pearson at CB, Warhurst and Worthington at FB (I think?). Didn't they get to the two domestic finals in one season?
Great team to watch that. Not forgetting Peter Barnes too who like Gary Owen, was forced to leave City by Malcolm Allison. Len Cantello and Tony 'Bomber' Brown were very good too.Unlucky with the red card ( 2nd yellow) very silly from the player, don’t mind West Brom some cracking players back in the day Regis,Cunningham,Greenhoff,Moses and a certain Gary Owen as well ..
John Wile was an excellent CB. Tony Godden in goal. Derek Statham at FB and Bryan Robson in midfield. Didn't Brendan Batson play for them as well? That was a very good team they had back then.Great team to watch that. Not forgetting Peter Barnes too who like Gary Owen, was fired to leave City by Malcolm Allison. Loved big Cyrille. What a player he was.
John Wile and Alistair Robertson were a fine pairing at centre back. Remember Wile cutting his head and Brian Talbot suffering from double vision in a clash of heads in the 78 FA Cup Semi.John Wile was an excellent CB. Tony Godden in goal. Disappointed with today, expected to lose but to not be up for a derby is poor.
Despite the chaos of the last 6 months (or 10 years of Chansiri, or 25 years since PL relegation) the players have given it a go in all games this season, what a time for that to be missing.
For anybody not aware of our situation, the squad last season was bottom 6 anyway, to then lose 13 players and only bring in an emergency keeper, an 18 year old left back and a 34 year old CB free agent who came on for his first appearance today we were never going to survive.
This squad would probably be top 10 in League 1.
Hopefully in the next few weeks a prefered bidder will bne in place to take the club on and we can look to rebuild.
The worst thing about today is I'm not even that bothered, the younger version of me would be absolutely gutted.
For the past 18 months I've just become apathetic to it all, going to games at times (especially midweek) feels like a chore.
Onwards & upwards
Thanks m8,Hard to disagree. They defended well enough for the most part bit there was no fire in midfield and up front. No desire you get behind a Blades team that didn't play that well.
Better days lie ahead mate. With hopefully the right people in charge the rebuild en masse will start. Most of those players won't be there. Maybe Palmer, Bannan and a couple of others. Proper investment in a durable side for the 3rd Division and a long term plan for the future hopefully will be heading your way.
Put it this way, and I mean no offence to Blades, but your club has higher highs than theirs and I can see you back in the top flight in years to come and actually doing something while they yoyo playing dinosaur football under Wilder or whoever.
