im gutted at this. i love my seat in the north stand. I dont think i can afford too much of a price hike and to be honest i dont WANT to pay extra for a seat in tier 3 or wherever is available

Ahh yeah I heard about this the whole turning the north stand into one big one mite see if I can get south stand haha sick of north stand tbh only sit there cause of my dad but I doubt me dad will renew tho.

Its all about the massive upheaval of thousands of very,very disgruntled fans and the excessive monies that it is going to cost them to re-locate !!
I suggest you also read the thread "6% Increase ....."
This is what is upsetting thousand of Loyal Fans .

It's just life. Hopefully no one will have had a change of opinion over the owner. I know they've put a lot of money into the club, but they can't keep control over every single aspect. They have bigger fish to fry, and are probably more concerned with getting their £billions back that they lent to Dubai last year!

It seems reasonable to me that when you reach 16 years whatever you have to make way for the new younger generation in a Family Stand. If the proposed plans to extend the stadium go ahead it shouldn't be a major problem. I know I didn't like taking my lads when they were younger due to the foul, obscene language they would hear so a famlily stand in the true sense of the words makes sense to me.
If I am correct does this not represent a 1% reduction on tickets last season?
What we also have to consider is the UEFA plans that all clubs have to be self supporting. I think the club is bringing their model for self sufficiency forward just in case. You have to remember a lot of clubs have something to lose if we are successful.
I do think that anyone who is forced to move seats should be allowed a preferential rate for a period of time so that it isn't a massive hike. eg 1st year same price, 2nd year half the difference between the two and 3rd year normal price.
