Changes Ahead....................

my take on this is a manager should be given time to build, i think everyone agrees that next season will be better than this, we have made progress for sure. the owners though are worried, and who can blame them, what if it is not better than this? they lose another year and maybe lose the manager they seek to another club.
what if me and the other stability crew who want to keep hughes are wrong, that maybe he is "clueless, "a rag" and all the other things the hughes outers have been harping on about(since day one i might add so they had an agenda against him regerdless of any forcoming results)all season.
the reason he will be replaced(and he will be)is we can't take that chance, we can't lose that season or lose the manager being lined up, shame but thats football.

i look this at like this, with our funds the new man will get us higher than 10th, he may even pick the team based on ability rather than their face fitting, or make subs that make sense, maybe having had a full summer window (hughes did'nt) to assemble a squad good enough where a player like gelson does'nt play right back against a top 2 club.

the last thing is we need a manager who would have nailed the kaka deal, and other players like him, a manager than has these players and their agents ringing HIM.

changes are coming, its not going to be the special one, fair enough, but lets hope its a better one, that will do me for now.

please jose change your mind.

Exactly what I have been thinking since it happened back in January.

The relative silence from Khaldoon and Cook is deafening.

That's quite a fair and balanced view in my opinion. I've always wondered what length of time the owners are prepared to give to Hughes. Moyes and Southgate have been given time by their respective owners but I don't see the glitter of any silverware in any of their trophy cabinets. OK, if Everton do manage to bag the FA Cup this year, is one trophy in 7 years a fair return for having faith in the manager?

Well iam not in the return of sven camp.. but thinking about it he bought well enough in the limited time availiable, and we were still in good shape after xmas .After reading a few articles it seems the two transfer buys lists was real and Ts didnt have any money avail to fund who sven wtd to buy ,and if our poor performance and maybe sven lack of interest was borne out of the knowledge there was no money to improve and he knew he was off at the end of the season.Seems to me hughes was a cost cutting appointment who could manage on a budget ... so where does that leave adug ?? save face and keep him or replace now...maybe sven with money wouldnt be a bad idea ..
