Changing support....YCMIU

it did recently strike me i dont give a shit about glory hunters here... more revenue for us. for all the glory hunters who'll start supporting us, i hope our club takes you mugs for every fucking penny youve got

Haha I think its jealously - the RagCafe poster is so used to seeing red shirts in the pubs he frequents that now all of a sudden City shirts are appearing he's getting jealous - he wants all the gloryseekers to be seeking at his club.

We haven't won silverware in my lifetime anyway, misguided souls - if i was gloryseeking this season i'd pick Barcelona over us :D

I can't see what his problem is.
I supported Liverpool in their glory days of the European Cup, then it was Blackburn but to be fair I only supported them for one year, OK it was the year they won the League but they were a great side. I then changed to Arsenal and their magnificent title winning teams but lets be fair, you just could not support the mighty Chelsea when they rampaged to the Premier title. Whats wrong with following the successful teams ? so now I am a City fan.

What?? You mean you never supported Newcastle in '96?!!

I remember when we got relegated to the third division, a rag- I use the term loosely as I'm not sure he knew what continent they played on-saying to me: "bad-luck about City mate, who you gonna support now?"

Needless to say I told him, in the nicest possible way, to get out of my sight.

I might be desperate but I was never THAT desperate ............ I was saving that line for a certain other bunch of tossers but hey.

My next door neighbour told me the other day that he's sick of what the money is doing to the club and going back to his roots with Luton Town FC!

Paul Nolan, now that's a blast from the past! Remember him on the radio, I pretty sure last time I heard him on one of those phone in's he said he was now a Chelsea fan, no surprises there really! I think he used to go on James Stannage as well, that programme was always a good listen, I wish he was still on. Anyone know if he still does any radio?
