Any ideas? Mate of mine suggersted this:

S**t Aston Villa
You're just a s**t Aston Villa
S**t Aston Villa, you're just a s**t Aston Villa

Would have worked for Burnley too (not that they needed any more pain)

Anyone got some better suggestions???

West Ham have always done alright by us so why try and piss them off? when we went down at Upton Park in 1987 the Hammers fans on the pitch applauded the City fans and vice versa and a lot of Hammers have a lot of time for City.

Why can't we concentrate on singing songs about our own team instead of sounding like arrogant dickhead's.

I suggest the "fans"who want to start these chants should remember that we are a very similar club to West Ham & they are a support that we in the past have got on well with.
I'd like to think that if we do send them down & fans of our club do this they will be the 1st out of the ground ready to confront the fans of West Ham that as ours would will be enraged at being relegated & wanting to have a word with the people that took the piss out of them.
That's what i suggest anyway.

Ordinarily I'd agree with you but for 4 things

1) £50 for a ticket is a bloody disgrace.

2) Their owners' constant whinging about how unfair it all is.

3) They deserved to go down for the dodgy Tevez / Mascherano deal and another team ended up taking the drop.

4) We may need 3 points from the game to get in the top 4 so anything we can do to quiet their fans or get in their players heads is a good thing IMHO.

Again, good point and I can see where you are coming from but I take the view that for 90 minutes plus stoppage time it is war and anything goes - after the game it's different and I would happily clap West Ham off the field and would genuinely hope that they make it straight back up but during the match only the points matter.

How about singing PRO CITY songs, instead of winding them up about the colour they play in.

We should try and motivate our own instead of trying to demotivate them.

Because of the respect bewtween the two clubs and what they did for us in 87 i personally think if they are indeed going down, then for one time only at the end of the game all of us once sing.. Im for blowing bubbles!!!
good idea, I like the hammers, best of luck to them and I hope they manage to avoid relegation

just to echo the post above that City and West Ham are very similar clubs. The fans at the Boleyn are as loyal and proud as we are and over the years have been a good set of fans.

There is always banter during a game between fans but i wont be taking any part in winding them up with pre-planned songs.

Get behind City for what will probably be 90 crucial minutes.

West ham like has been stated are a fantastic club with knowledgeable, passionate loyal fans and if they do go down I for one will be disapointed. I can't understand why anyone, especially a city supporter having endured relegation would want to rub it in especially to a great club like West Ham. Hopefully we will get top four and they will stay up.

Also tickets for games at eastlands have cost £45 this season and whatever they charge it's no reflection on the fans who will be the ones suffering the most if they're relegated
