about 9m apparently.
not a bad signing but does seem steep, suppose compared to henderson though its a good deal.

No offence to the lad but hes just not good enough to play for Liverpool! he will get found out, small fish big pond time!!

I think he's an excellent footballer, will he be the same player for Liverpool as he was for Blackpool totally different pressure Liverpool "expectations" does things to players!

Only ever really seen him on MOTD, I'd be willing to bet a fair few of those 'hollywood balls' go flying out for every one that's spot on. I've also seen him give it away a lot when playing the simpler passes, be interesting to see how how this one turns out though. It could be a genius signing if him and Suarez can get on the same wavelength and caroll will be deadly from his set pieces if gerrard lets him take them.

I think he's the 2nd average player they've signed for well over the odds. I think it's got failure written all over it.

Chelsea tried a few years ago when they signed SWP, Scott Parker and Steve Sidwell (i know they weren't all bought at the same time). All 3 players were class at their respective clubs but failed to make the grade at a higher level.

And you'd win your bet mate. Anyone who thinks that there is any chance of adam being a success at liverpool should have a look at the guardian chalkboards and see how often he gives the ball away. Here's a random selection of his passes:

Bolton home 21 successful - 19 unsuccessful
Tottenham away 28 -18
Wigan home 32 - 28
Arsenal home 29 - 25
Blackburn away - 20 24
Villa home 43 - 33
West brom away 40 - 17

last season he got caught in possesion more times than pete doherty

Can see him playing the anchor spraying balls about, he's got his runners around him in that set up, same kinda script as when they signed Gary Mcallister.
