I remember when Liverpool were the first team to have shirt sponsorship the same characters said we would never fall as low to sell the soul of MUFC... to an electronics company lo and behold not longer later they filled there pockets with the cash from Sharp Electronics.

I do note the latest united tour is being delivered by DHL so if someone comes waving the cash they accept, I bet UEFA are investigating this big sponsorship deal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know if this is just an urban myth, but apparently, when he was a player, Charlton always used to carry around an empty cardboard box, whenever entering or leaving the sty on match days, so if anyone asked for an autograph he could say his hands were full.
