I now live over that way mate, bit further north. If you set off at 5 you'll be ok as long as the M62 isn't Jammed. If it is then you're fucked obviously. We normally set off about 5 and get there in plenty of time to have some food and a few beers if the traffic gods have been kind.

lucky enough for me there was a "grouse" meeting on the site so i managed to leave west burton power station at 4.23 and got to audenshaw at 5 to 6,the only queing i encountered was intially leaving the M1 at 35a between the first 2 roundabouts and of course up the hill after woodhead at longdendale before the M67....was well chuffed to be down the ground for quarter to 7 but fookin well pissed of at quarter to 10...
